General Terms of Business and important customer information


1. Generally

The following General Terms of Business are valid for all contracts, deliveries and all other services. We herewith contradict strictly against all different policies of our contract partners. It is necessary to discuss all collateral agreements with us.


2.Moment of conclusion of the agreement: 

By clicking the „Send Order“ button, you will place a binding order of the products in your shopping basket. The confirmation of your order will be done right after your order arrived. The sales contract is valid with delivery of the goods or with sending our confirmation of order. 


3.Examination of the contract: 

The text passages of the contract are saved. The customer or business partner is allways able to look at the General terms of Business, on this page. Your personal ordering data is not visible in the internet, due to safety reasons. 


4.Right of revocation : 

You as a customer are able to cancel every order within 14 days  according to § 13 BGB (German Law). The revoke must not include any reasons and can be realized by sending back the goods or informing us by letter or e-mail.. To accept the deadline it is enough to contact :

Please prepay the parcel sufficiently, to avoid an excess postage. We will refund the amount of  postage inmediately . If you are not able to send back the whole delivery or only a part of it or if you can send the goods back only in a bad condition, you will have to pay a  part of the value back; but you can avoid this if you take care of  testing the goods like they are tested in a store and if you take care of the original packaging. We will take care of all costs for sending back the delivery, if the purchase amount is above EUR 40,-. 


It is not possible to return the following goods : 

-goods which have been customized or are made by specifications of the customer, goods which can not be returned because of their composition or when the expiry date is overdue, or goods which are likely to go off; - Audio and Video Recordings, or Software as soon as the data medium has been unsealed; - Newspapers, Gazettes and Magazines . 


5. Warranty: 

The warranty is valid according to the German law, but you should be aware, that in a case of an imperfection of custom made goods, we will go over or deliver new goods. If the finishing touch is not perfect or the later delivered goods are in the same condition, it is your right to send back the goods and get your expenses returned, or to keep the goods and pay a lower price. Information about a warranty of the manufacturer can be found on the corresponding products.


6. Delivery and payment

The terms of delivery and payment of Kontex are explained inside the ordering form. There is no minimum amount. Custom delivered goods are quoted with the local extra charges.

Please find the estimated delivery periods inside the describtion of the goods. If there are no specifications we will deliver within 30 days after receiving your order. The extension of the delivery period on customer demand is possible.

We have the right to sen a part delivery if it is reasonable. Additional costs for a part delivery must not be paid, until a special agreeement is made


7. Delivery periods 

The delivery of goods which are in stock is done within 7 working days. If goods are not in stock, you are informed inmediately via e-mail.


8. Property proviso 

All purchased products are property of Kontex until they are fully paid. 


9. Data Protection Regulations: 

We are using your collected data only for purposes of ordering and delivery. All customer data is saved and processed  according to the german law of data protection(BDSG) and the german law of data protection for telephone and data service (TDDSG) . 

Every customer has the right to get access to all his data, to change it, to block it or to erase it. Please contact our webmaster or inform us via e-mail or fax. 

We will not forward your personal data including your adress and e-mail to a third party, unless you have authorised us to do so, which is revocable without reasons. With the exception of companies which have to use parts of your data for delivery, payment and ordering. If data is forwarded to other companies, only a minimum is transferred.

In this shop, cookies with your personal data are only saved, on customer demand, this data saved in our cookies can be used the next time to save time while filling in all information in ordering forms. Using your browser configuration, you can manage or erase the cookies.


10. Legal domicile 

The legal domicile and the place of fullfillment is the location of Kontex, when the customer is a businessman. Only the german law is valid
