If you've ever seen female Japanese pro-wrestlers in action, you'll know they don't mess around. The body slams, the joint locks and the kicks to the face and chest are painful to watch, never mind be victim to. Transferred from VHS, this DVD revisits five action-packed matches.

First up, there's a six-girl tag match, followed by another two versus two tag clash. The wrestling is so fast and furious that it's almost a blur, but rest assured the cameras catch all the holds and slams.

Some of the fights get taken outside of the ring and the action is always brutal. Perhaps the highlight is the final match between blonde Canadian Velvet McIntyre and her much younger Japanese rival Ishida. This is skilful pro-wrestling with loads of attitude thrown in, a high stakes clash of cultures and age groups.

Experienced Velvet doesn't want to submit to the smaller girl, but the pretty young Japanese torments her. Velvet fights back angrily, and after so much hard work from both wrestlers, it all ends in a humiliating pin as one woman is counted out.
